Gypsum Powder CaSO4 • 2H2O Calcium Sulfate Dihydrate
🌱 Gypsum effectively changes the structure and fertility of heavy clay soils, especially those that are heavily weathered or subject to intensive crop production. Gypsum also improves sodic (saline) soils by removing sodium from the soil and replacing it with calcium.
🍄 Gypsum is used to adjust the pH in mushroom growing media such as grain, sawdust, straw and coffee grounds. The main reason is to add calcium carbonate and sulfur, which helps to stabilize PH levels to near neutral so it acts as a PH buffer as well as adding minerals which are vital for fruiting. We offer affordable, low-quantity amounts for your small project needs. No need to have a bunch leftover that you have no use for. • Used In: Soil Repair, Agricultural, Mycology • Sealed in Mylar - Quantity over 4 ounces comes vacuum sealed in plastic.
