Description: The Ivory Gaya Melon, also known as Snow Leopard Melon or Dino Melon (Cucumis melo), is native to East Asia and thrives in USDA hardiness zones 4-11. This melon is valued for its refreshing, sweet flesh and is rich in vitamins A and C, contributing to skin health and immune support. While it’s not typically grown indoors as a houseplant, its compact vine structure allows it to be cultivated in small outdoor spaces, making it a great choice for home gardens. The plant can support local pollinator activity, enhancing garden biodiversity. 

Color: The plant features green foliage and produces fruits with a distinctive creamy white skin dappled with green spots, and pale green sweet flesh.

Seed Stratification and Sowing: Snow Leopard Melon seeds do not require stratification. Sow seeds directly in warm, well-drained soil after the last frost, and expect germination in 7-10 days.

Growing Habits and Requirements: The plant is a vining melon that prefers full sun and thrives in rich, well-drained soil. Regular watering is needed, especially during the fruiting period, to ensure plump and flavorful melons.
