Morning Glory - Blue Speckle Blend
Blue Speckle Morning Glory (Semi-Stable)
These are not invasive in Kentucky. Hardiness begins around Zone 9 for this cultivar and needs to be replanted yearly.
A stunning vining plant with semi stable traits. Because of the physiology of some variegated plants such as this one, there will be a lot of variance in each seed. I will explain a percentage of this years traits below for you to consider if this seed is for you! Some plants may produce various colors but the primary color is blue speckled with a reasonable probability. These statistics are from last year, however this years seed harvest (what you’re getting) has been further isolated in an attempt to strengthen the genetics to provide a more consistent speckled and blue coloring. This should reduce the probability of purple blooms to just 1 or 2 plants per 100. Should. Normally I guarantee that the seeds you purchase will produce what was purchased, but because of the high variance in variegated plants and seeds I cannot do so here. The foliage being variegated should also improve. However, please reach out if for any reason you have issues! The foliage being variegated should also improve.

Soak seeds for 4-8 hours in warm water. Scatter seeds and cover lightly in soil, in a warm area. Depth of seeds should be roughly 1/8th-1/4” deep, keeping moist but not soggy. Seeds may take several weeks to germinate. Select the best candidates and transfer to individual pots when several inches tall. Plant in ground when night temps are consistently above 55-60F. For best results, seeds can be gently scarified to increase germination.
